At Decatur Dental Care, our administrative team, hygienists, and dental assistants work together every day to make sure your visit is comfortable, efficient, and personal from the moment you walk in. Many of our team members have been with the practice for years and have gotten to know our patients like family.

Sherri Shelton

Office Manager

I grew up in Mt. Zion and graduated from Mt. Zion High School. After high school, I attended Illinois State University in Normal. I now live in Long Creek with my husband and yorkie Baxter. We have two daughters, two grandsons and one granddaughter. I love being a mom and Memaw! We enjoy spending time with our family and friends. I started working at Decatur Dental Care in 2009. I am fortunate to work with a great staff of loving, compassionate people who go out of their way to provide the best care to our patients.

Pam Hood

Lauren is our lead dental assistant who has been making patients smile since 2018. She takes pride in providing the best care for her patients and loves being able to be alongside them during their oral health journey, whether it be minor things a patient wants to improve with their smile or full mouth restorations. When Lauren is not helping the world one smile at a time, you can find her at Lowe’s in the garden section, doing home improvement projects on her house or spending time with her nieces, nephews and family.

I am originally from the Niantic area but currently reside in Mt. Zion. I have an amazing husband and 3 kids. I love spending time with family and friends. I joined the Decatur Dental Care staff in November 2021 and I'm thankful to work with such great doctors and staff.

I grew up in Argenta and graduated from Argenta-Oreana High School where I was a cheerleader. I currently reside in Maroa with my high school sweetheart. When I'm not working, I am spending time with my family. I am the second oldest of five siblings. I enjoy camping and boating. What I love most about working at Decatur Dental Care are my amazing and friendly coworkers. They welcomed me with open arms and I am forever grateful. It is truly a wonderful place to work.

Morgan Northington

I was born and raised in Decatur. I graduated from the Lutheran School Association in 2009. I knew from a very early age that I wanted to be a Dental Hygienist. After high school, I continued my education at Parkland College, graduating in 2012. I love creating relationships with my patients and strive to make their experience the best. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am married and we have three sons. I grew up coming to Decatur Dental Care as a patient and I am so happy to be a part of this family.

Glenda Jarosz

I was born and raised in Decatur. I attended high school at Stephen Decatur and then went on to dental hygiene school at Parkland College in Champaign. I graduated in 2002 and I've been working at Decatur Dental Care since 2004. I have thoroughly enjoyed working here and building relationships with my patients over the years. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my 2 kids, family and friends.

I have been a practicing Licensed Dental Hygienist since 2004. I attended SIUC and attained my hygiene license at Parkland College in Champaign. I knew from a very young age that I would pursue a career in the dental field as I always loved going to the dentist. My love for people and beautiful smiles led me to become a hygienist. Outside the office, my husband Jason and I keep very busy raising our 5 children. We love to stay involved with all of their activities and sports! In my free time, I love spending time outdoors, gardening and barbequing with friends and family.

I started as a dental assistant, later furthering my education to become a dental hygienist. I love getting to know my patients and building long term relationships. As a dental hygienist, my focus is on providing high quality care to my patients, educating them about the importance of oral health, and teaching them to lead healthier lives. I travel often and enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, family and friends.

I was born and raised in Decatur. I started my career as a dental assistant and loved the one on one interaction with patients, so I decided to further my education to become a dental hygienist. I genuinely enjoy the relationships that I build with my patients and I'm happy to educate them on the importance of oral health care. Outside of the office, I enjoy my family, my husband, our cat Oliver, and especially our grandkids. I love the outdoors, crafting, baking and lots of family time. I am very grateful to be a part of the wonderful office at Decatur Dental Care.

After spending the majority of my dental hygiene career working in Taylorville, I am very excited to have joined the Decatur Dental Care family. Building long term relationships with my patients while helping them achieve oral health is what motivates me every day. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, especially my two grandkids, as well as reading and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals.

I am a 1996 Mt. Zion High School graduate. I attended Lakeland Community College where I played basketball and softball. I have been a dental assistant since 2001. I received a dental assisting certificate in 2002 from Excel Training Systems, School of Dental Assisting. In 2004, I started working at Decatur Dental Care and married my wonderful husband. We have 3 children; Dylan, Macie and Maxwell. My kids are my world. I can truly say that I love coming to work every day. I enjoy working with patients and love to make them smile. I enjoy spending time with my kids and family. We love sports! So, if we are not home, you can find us at a sporting event. We also like to go boating and swimming when we have time. God Bless.

I am from Decatur. I graduated from MacArthur High School in 2003. I then attended Kaplin College in Indianapolis, IN where I graduated in 2005 as a Dental Assistant. I have been with our office since 2011. I love working here and am very proud to say I work at Decatur Dental Care. We work in a very fun atmosphere with a great staff. Our doctors care a lot about our patients. I love being able to help patients, make them feel more comfortable about coming to the dentist, and help provide them with a healthy smile. In my free time, my husband, three dogs and I enjoy camping and spending time at the lake with family and friends.

I graduated from Warrensburg High School. I enjoy weight lifting, going to concerts and fostering kittens. I am the self-proclaimed best comedian in the office, though Dr Clark is a close second. I've been a patient at Decatur Dental Care since I was very young and it's been my dream to work here ever since. A lot of patients have had a history of negative experiences when going to the dentist and I love turning their dental appointment into a positive and fun experience that patients of every age can enjoy instead of fear. I'm very excited to have the privilege to work with you!

I was born in North Carolina and moved to the Decatur/Mt.Zion area my freshman year of high school. I have three incredible daughters and I'm a sports loving mom through and through. I have had the honor and privilege to work for Dr Clark at North Street Dental Care, Pana Family Dental and Decatur Dental Care. I love to come to work each day and I make patient care my top priority. At Decatur Dental Care, we strive to make sure that patients have a pleasant dental experience and personal care by each member of our staff. It is always my goal to have our patients leave the office with a smile.
